Galletto Vallespluga with beer and apples

Galletto Vallespluga alla birra con le mele


• 2 Galletto Vallespluga
• 1 carrot
• 1 onion
• 1 glass of beer
• broth
• laurel
• rosemary
• 2 apples
• butter
• oil, salt, pepper to taste


Put in a pan the onion, carrot and laurel with a little olive oil to brown, just a little browned and put the hens cut (each into 4 pieces), salt and pepper and cook until both sides are properly browned (golden…) on high heat. Lower the heat and add a glass of beer. Evaporate and continue to cook with a cover, add the broth from time to time, for about 30 minutes. In a separate pan, saute the apples, cut into thin slices with some butter (a table spoon), laurel and rosemary. Cook until they brown but without breaking them. Serve the Galletto and apples hot.
